Sigal Abbatovi, Organizational Psychologist – Founder
I am an experienced psychologist, Relationship & Family Therapist who is passionate about helping people find the life they love and a career that supports it. I help people follow their goals, recognize their dreams and therefore gain maximum satisfaction from their lives. I help clients find a fulfilling career and dream job and also maintain a better and healthier lifestyle. Additionally, I have extensive experience in giving therapy both face-to-face as well as via online portals such as Skype, FaceTime and Google Hangouts on my site Sigal Therapy.
I hold an Honors Undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Westminster, London in 2003 and a Masters degree in Organizational Psychology from CITY University London in 2006. I have been trained in positive psychology techniques which I use often today. I am a Relationship and Family Psychotherapist from Tel Aviv University as I believe that career is not a separate entity to personal life and they are interconnected.
What do I do and who do I work with?
I’m an organizational psychologist and as well as running my own consulting company whereby I help people find their dream job and hold their hand as they go through the whole process. Additionally, I also help people with personal everyday issues such as how to increase self-esteem, stress management, increase motivation and so on. Lastly, I help new start-ups in their developmental stage. I am a guest lecturer at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev to MBA Honors students on the whole process of finding a best-fit career. I have also lectured at Tel Aviv University for International Sofaer MBA students and to Organizational Behavior Masters students on career related issues and personal development.
Moreover, I lecture for StarTAU, a non-profit organization that assists businesses and entrepreneurs from a variety of fields and write an entrepreneurial blog in their site. I’ve been invited several times to instruct new and existing olim at Nefesh B’Nefesh on how to build their career in Israel and teach them cross-cultural differences. Several hotels including the renowned Mizpe-Hayamim invite me on a regular basis as a guest speaker on several topics such as personal growth and getting the best out of life. As a returning lecturer, The Israeli Engineering Society invites me to speak to their employees. In addition, I instruct employees at various hi-tech organizations on cross-cultural differences, how to use LinkedIn and how to gain maximum work/life balance.
I have years of experience in the field of organizational psychology, having worked as an organizational psychologist in London and a trainer for large Israeli and international companies here in Israel. I also worked as a trainee clinical psychologist at Chase Farm Hospital in London. After making Alyiah I invented and developed the Building Your Career in Israel program, which ran from 2011-2012 which helped hundreds of Olim and Israelis who were unemployed or who were seeking a new a career. My Aliyah also led to the opening of my own Speed Dating business; Endless Knot, for single Olim and Israelis alike.
